Click here for full details of the accommodation La Hantraye was actually an old village and the original buildings have been converted into these beautiful houses which are set within 5 acres of gardens, orchards and grass land. The original boulangerie still stands near the pond and was used until quite recently and this, together with the village well, are right in the middle of the apple orchard!
Situated within 3 miles of the lovely town of St Hilaire du Harcouet, and about 25 miles from Mont St Michel, there are beautiful towns, villages and beaches to explore and some wonderful restaurants in which to sample local produce. Ideal for family holidays and groups of friends or positioned so that two seperate families can enjoy their own space and yet have full use of the grounds and facilities.
Both houses at La Hantraye have their own patio and garden area. There is garden furniture and plenty of room to play boules or other games. The pond is probably big enough for fish but we haven't seen any yet. It is fenced off for safety but we do ask parents to keep an eye on their children.

There is a large open plan living room with a comfortable sitting area complete with television and DVD for watching those special films whilst drinking a good bottle of wine 
The adjacent dining table and very well equipped kitchen ensures sociable evenings and if you resist the many excellent local restaurants there is even a dishwasher. The washing machine is in the bathroom in typical french style! The fireplace is a beautiful feature in this room. We provide a selection of books, jigsaws and games.
Primevèra sleeps up to 7 people and is ideal for those who struggle with stairs. On the ground floor there is a double room and a twin room. There is also a bathroom with a sunken bath and shower and two separate toilets. A new kitchen and bathroom will be fitted in November 2008.
Upstairs there is a very large mezzanine forming a beautiful triple room (with additional roll out beds) and there is a stair gate for safety. 
The orchards are very well cared for and stocked. You will probably spend a lot of your holiday dashing out to see what fruit has ripened and please feel free to pick and sample whatever is in season.
