Travel to all of our houses is easy from the UK and is a relaxing start to your holiday. We suggest you take your time over your journey, however it is so convenient that we often pop over for long weekends to check up on things. We have even visited all of our houses on a 24hr ferry excursion and had time to enjoy a typical French lunch watching the world go by.

Fast ferries operate from Poole and Portsmouth on popular routes in the summer months and take around 2 hrs.

We find that round trips, leaving or returning by different ports are convenient, interesting and no more expensive.

                                                       Flights 

Ryan Air and Easy Jet are extending their services to Normandy. Ryan Air fly from Stansted and East Midlands to Dinard and Easy Jet have services to Rennes. Both airports are an easy drive to La Hantraye.

                                          Mileage & Journey Times

Le Manchion is about 45 mins from Caen, 1 hr from Cherbourg and 1 3/4 hrs from St Malo.

Châtaigne and Primevèra are about 1 1/4 hrs fro St Malo, 1 1/2 hrs from Caen and 2 1/4 hrs from Cherbourg.

Times are based on a speed of 30mph on national & country roads and 60mph on motorways.
